Lawn Mowing Service

Good mowing is more than a haircut. Cutting at the right height, with sharp blades and a changing pattern, keeps grass thick, shades out weeds and helps the lawn handle a Tennessee summer. Cutting too short is one of the most common reasons lawns thin out.

We set the deck for your grass type, whether tall fescue, bermuda or zoysia, trim around obstacles, edge the walks and blow everything clean. Homeowners across Nashville use our mowing service to get a lawn that looks cared for every week without lifting a finger.

What you get

Done right, from the first walk-through

01

Height set for your grass

Fescue, bermuda and zoysia each get their own cutting height, never a one-size-fits-all setting.

02

Sharp blades, clean cuts

Blades are kept sharp so grass is cut, not torn, which helps it stay green and healthy.

03

Trimmed, edged and blown

Edges of walks and drives are cut and clippings are blown off hard surfaces.

04

Pattern changes

Mowing direction is varied so the grass stands up straight and wheel ruts do not form.

The process

How your service comes together

  1. 1

    Walk the property

We note your grass type, obstacles, slopes and gates.

  2. 2

    Mow, trim and edge

The lawn is cut and the edges are finished by hand.

  3. 3

    Blow clean and check

Walks, drives and patios are cleared and we check the finished lawn.

FAQ

Common questions about lawn mowing

How often should my lawn be mowed?

Weekly in the main growing season is typical for most Middle Tennessee lawns, and less often when growth slows in heat and in fall.

Do you bag the clippings?

Usually we mulch them back into the lawn, which returns nutrients. We can bag or haul them when the grass is long or a lawn is going on the market.

What if it rains on my mowing day?

We reschedule to the next dry day so the lawn is cut cleanly instead of being rutted or clumped.
